(Dallas, TX) — The state’s new election integrity law is leading to the rejection of hundreds of applications for mail-in ballots in North Texas Counties.

More than ten-thousand applications have been received in Dallas and Tarrant counties, and about 15-hundred have been rejected, mostly because of incomplete or incorrect ID information.

State and local officials say they’re doing what they can to make sure every eligible voter gets to cast a ballot.  Early voting starts soon for the primary election on March 1st.
