TxDOT Crews Prep North Texas Roads For Icy Weather Conditions

(Dallas, TX) — Work crews have prepared North Texas roads for icy conditions as another winter front approaches the area.

TxDOT started on Monday to treat bridges and overpasses around North Texas with brine to keep them from icing over. Freezing rain and sleet are expected throughout the day.

MedStar ambulance services tweeted this morning that their crews and area first responders had worked 28 crashes between 3:30 – 8a, 18 of those involved injuries.
