(Undated)  —  The Triple-A Texas Weekend Gas Watch says the statewide average gas price in Texas is $3.38 a gallon for regular unleaded.

That price is up 17-cents from a week ago, and is 93-cents higher than a year ago.  The national average is $3.73.  Gasoline supplies are down and demand is up, but the real culprit is crude prices of more than 100-dollars a barrel, the highest since 2011.

The average price at the pump in North Texas $3.48.
