Governor Abbott & First Lady Visit Ukrainian Catholic Church

(Houston, TX) — Governor Greg Abbott and First Lady Cecilia Abbott visited a Houston church to show solidarity for Ukraine.

The Abbotts attended and spoke at services at Pokrova Ukrainian Catholic Church yesterday.

The Governor designated Sunday as a statewide day of prayer for Ukraine. The governor’s Mansion in Austin was lit up with the blue and gold colors of the Ukrainian flag.
