AAA Texas: Statewide Gas Price Down Seven Cents From Last Week

(Undated) — The Triple-A Texas Weekend Gas Watch says the statewide average gas price in Texas is $3.89 a gallon for regular unleaded.

That price is down seven-cents from a week ago and is a $1.26 more than a year ago. The national average is $4.24 a gal. Demand for gas is down, but the rising price of crude is keeping the pump price from decreasing even more.

The average price at the pump in North Texas is $3.83.
