Fort Worth Dealership Gives New Pickup To Driver Of Red Truck In Tornado

(Elgin, TX) — A Fort Worth dealership plans to a give a 2022 Chevy Silverado to the driver of a pickup truck that drove through a Texas tornado this week.

Bruce Lowrie Chevrolet says that 16-year-old Riley Leon will receive the new truck on Saturday. A viral video showed Leon’s red 2004 Chevy truck being flipped on its side as he drove through the tornado on Highway 290 in Elgin on Monday.

The truck then flipped upright, and Leon drove away, still mobile but with some storm damage.
