(Arlington, TX) — Four guests of Six Flags Over Texas are hospitalized after an electrical malfunction filled a ride building with smoke.
A park safety team responded about 6:30 p.m. Sunday to a report of smoke inside the Mr. Freeze: Reverse Blast building. All guests and staff got out of the building, but four guests were taken to a local hospital to be treated for smoke inhalation. The smoke reportedly came from an electrical fire in a malfunctioning motor.
The park safety team put out the fire before the Arlington Fire Department arrived at the scene.
